So what do you do when Daddy has to work late and Mommy's busy cleaning up from dinner and doing all those other things that take so much longer when Daddy's not home yet . . .
This creative adventure began as a "crayon drop" over bare floor! I was glad for the creativity, and I didn't mind the "dropping" part, but for the benefit of the floor, we switched to Jenga blocks over a quilt instead of crayons. Quite the successful endeavor considering that they occupied themselves for a full 20-minutes without complaint or fuss! :o) Plenty of time to clean up the kitchen and pull together lunches for the next day! :o)
