I blinked! That's it . . . I promise! All I did was blink and it's been nearly two weeks since I posted! How does that happen?!?!
Sorry folks
(particularly grandparents!) Mommy's been busy growing a baby and there's just not much energy left for blogging at the end of a day. :o) It hardly seems possible, but we're at 34 weeks and counting . . . We'd appreciate your praying with us for at least four more weeks. We don't want this little guy getting too anxious to meet the brother and sister who have been giving him hugs and kisses for the last 8 months! :o)
We are making preparations though. We've brought up the baby's dresser and cradle and rearranged furniture in our bedroom to accomodate them. Still looking for the crib sheet. We've been blessed with a carseat (our other one was too old to still be considered safe.) We have located the Boys 0-3 month clothing bin and noted the necessity of washing the clothing. It's still sitting next to the washing machine. Mommy's budgeting her energies very carefully these days. :o) And, the Lord has been teaching Mommy flexiblity . . . we know not what a day may bring forth!
So what
have we been doing in the last couple weeks?
:::
We enjoyed watching big fat snowflakes swirling in our
third "snow storm" of the year!

:::
And we've thoroughly enjoyed the earliest signs of spring!!

The kids and I enjoyed 70 degree weather earlier this week as we cleaned the leaves out of a few of our flower beds. :o) The kids were BIG helpers, bringing tools and such as Mommy asked for them and diligently watering all of the flowers poking up from the dirt. (It's easier to see those when they're not buried under 3 inches of leaves!)
I was especially blessed by Peter one afternoon as I was trimming some branches on a small pine tree near our driveway. He pointed out that I needed to trim the top branches as well, and I told him that Mommy was too short and needed the stool to do that. He immediately dropped the coveted shovel he was holding, dashed up the steps to the swing tree where the stool was stowed, and came scurrying back with it--without Mommy ever once even suggesting that he go get it for me. :o)

:::
Hannah thoroughly enjoyed Clown Day at school! :o) We were so glad to be able to borrow a clown costume from some friends who've been through this a few times before. :o)

Just as a side note, Hannah's been making up words recently . . . anytime you ask her what they mean, she'll tell you, "It's a nickname for a tree."

:::
Peter's outside any chance he can get. :o)

:::
Last weekend Daddy had an ALL-nighter at work, about 9:00 pm till noon. The kids decided they wanted to eat breakfast in bed since Daddy wasn't home. Mommy obliged. :o) I certainly couldn't complain--they fixed it themselves!

:::
Hannah and Mommy had fun playing with quilted "paper" dolls.

:::
The kids thoroughly enjoyed jumping on the bubble wrap from the package from Uncle Pat and Aunt Judy! (And they're quite excited about their new named coat hooks!
Thanks, Uncle Pat!)

:::
Ever creative with our play . . .

:::
ROAR!

:::
Still coloring! (Mommy's learning (or rather attempting to learn!) patience with the abundance of papers my budding artist/clutter bug tends to generate!)

:::
Peter's
thoroughly enjoying his new take-apart airplane. (a backordered Christmas gift . . .
Thanks, Great G&G!)

:::
AND Daddy launched the new computer!!! Yes, the one that's been sitting under our desk depreciating for at least two months!!!!

So, that's about it.
Daddy's been working hard to get a better handle on some different responsiblities and implementing some scheduling/planning methods to allow him to be more proactive rather than reactive. He's been enouraged to see some good progress there.
Mommy's still attempting to do some couponing. I'm very grateful to my friend Jen who inspired me to try CVS again. Over the course of four weeks, I've gotten $117 worth of merchandise for $15! The planning is getting easier, which makes it a good bit more fun. :o)
Otherwise, we're just trying to get a few various and sundry things finished up before our littlest one makes his appearance.
