365 Project | Week 4

This week has been filled with consignment sale prep ... lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of ironing. Did I mention I've done lots of ironing this week? ;o) I watched all six hours of the Anne of Green Gables movies with an iron in my hand today. That nearly finished the project. :o) Ah well. I am thankful for the energy and strength to do it and the for abundant blessings the Lord's given us that we can now pass on.

As for my 365 project ... I'm loving it! Without further ado, here's the final seven for week 4. (There's lots more where these came from!)

Day 22. Sunday morning package delivery!
Day 23. Lots of rain makes for big puddles. :o)

Day 24. Lots of rain followed by sunshine brings up the daffodils. :o)

Day 25. Peek-a-boo! This little guy's smile just melts my heart! We had so much fun playing peek-a-boo this morning!

Day 26. My young man is preparing a garden. Completely of his own initiative. I think we're going to be planting vegetables whether we "want" to or not! :o) So thankful to see his industrious spirit!

Day 27. "How do ya' do, ma'am?" Celebrating cow(girl) day at school.

Day 28. And then my girl blessed me with her diligent efforts to cut and sort multitudes of consignment tags for me while we enjoyed watching Anne of Green Gables together. It was fun introducing Anne to the next generation. :o)

Thankful for another week with our blessings! And rejoicing in the multitude of smiles He sent our way. :o)

Smorgasboard

Not every picture is "the" picture of the day, but somehow I suspect grandparents and great grandparents will still be glad to see them ... ;o) We love you!

Two hammers are better than one ... and no, we did not "plan" this picture. The boys simply pulled out their tools Sunday morning and happened to have been wearing their matching pajamas the night before. :)

Just a random picture of our front door ... I like our door a lot. :)

My stove ... it's CLEAN! For a few hours at least. ;)

Mesmerized by the storm ...

This little guy is either OFF ...

Or ON.

And if Daddy's around, he most definitely wants to be WITH DADDY.

Helping being preferable.

It's a blessing to have built-in entertainment some days!

And then here's Hannah ... the outdoorsey girl And the artsey girl. :)

So thankful for the privilege of being Mommy to these munchkins!

365 Project | Week 3

I'm continuing to enjoy my project ... :o) One thing that's been interesting is my change in perspective on "one picture a day." When I started, it seemed like just one picture couldn't possibly be enough to capture a whole day. However, I'm realizing that when you take one picture every day, it adds up to lots of pictures which capture your many days ... many of which look quite a bit alike. :o) I am planning to post a smorgasboard later this week of the pictures which didn't make the final cut, but I think the ones below capture the essence of the week. :o)

Day 15. Hannah-bug enjoying Sunday afternoon.
Day 16. A beautiful sunrise!

Day 17. Wow. Hannah-bug figured out her friendship bracelets!

Day 18. Very excited to hear that Daddy's home!

Day 19. Toby with her very proud trainer. She now heels quite nicely.

Day 20. Pizza Hut! And what a blessing to realize that for one of the first times in recent memory, eating out with our munchkins was more fun than stressful!

Day 21. Mommy and Peter had fun building his tractor Saturday morning. And then Peter took a "shortcut" on the way downstairs to show it to Daddy. Stairs 1. Peter 0. So thankful he's okay! We're still looking for some of the missing truck pieces though.

Rejoicing in the Lord and thankful for His grace and mercy and strength each day!

Twister

Somebody (I guess that would be me!) forgot to tell my munchkins that "Twister" is a game played with colored dots on a white mat.

Somehow, I suspect they would prefer their own version. :o)

Running in circles to get properly "spun up" ... she who has longest legs gets this privilege.

Ready ...

Set ...

Go!

Who needs a merry-go-round when you have a sibling and swings?

Going for a Spin

Earlier this month we enjoyed a couple weeks of deliciously warm temperatures for January and spent plenty of time outside. This particular day saw plenty of swing time ... or rather, ... spin time! :o)

After his nap, Matthew decided to go on patrol. :o)

Peter enjoyed his helicopter ...

Yes, this is a very normal face for this activity.

He takes such things very seriously. ;o)

But who can beat trucks???

Love !! So thankful for the beautiful weather and a big yard in which to enjoy it. :o)
