For me, the blossoms of spring are a wonderful reminder of the new life we enjoy in Christ!
If in this life only we have hope in Christ,we are of all men most miserable.
But now is Christ risen from the dead,
and . . . in Christ shall all be made alive.

I love the beautiful pictures of your dogwoods!
I am going to have to find the story of the legend of the dogwood flower. Since you have so many dogwood trees. They are supposed to be a representation of Christ's death on the cross. (a legend!) The parts in the center are the thorns, the small indentations with red on each petal represent the nails, and so on.
