Totally not certain how January already made it into the history books, but there it is.
It's been a good week, and I'm beyond thankful. ♥

Day 24. Giggles. ♥
Day 25. Ah yes. Our Abby-girl loves music. And when that music is generated by something with buttons that she can push ... even better. :) Mommy is kinda, sorta, but not really resigned to the fact that my 18-month old is my "techy" baby. Nine years makes a big difference. We didn't even have smart phones when Hannah was a baby. #sigh
Day 26. I'm so thankful for good friends. Especially friends who know how to give a bit of common sense advice along with praying for you. Sometimes when you're feeling overwhelmed, you forget what you know, and this morning I needed to be reminded to list the basics and focus on one at a time. Gladly, it kept my looming train wreck of a day on the rails. :)
Awww, sweet Abby girl. ♥ Just a few days shy of 18-months. ♥ We love you so very, very much. ♥
Day 27. Practicing some new photo techniques. Thankful for my kiddos who put up with excessive picture taking this particular day. ♥
My pile. ♥
Day 28. Thursday mornings are piano mornings. So very thankful for our piano teacher. ♥
Day 29. And today we had a amazing visit with our Great Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Barbi, and cousins! So. Much. Fun!!! Along with just enjoying good fellowship, we made a fun craft with melted crayons.
Aunt Barbi was definitely the Crayon Melter Extraordinaire! Abby kept busy coloring ... when she wasn't off looking for new buttons to push. ;)
After craft time, the big kids had a blast playing Battle Ship!
And Noella hung out with Great Grandpa. :)
Peter was pretty excited to get a chance to hold both girls. :) All around, it was a just a lovely, special visit. So thankful. ♥
Day 30. Saturday randomness included introducing Hannah to design software as they worked out the details for the shelf she's commissioned. ;)
And repairing the deck doors. We decided that a few hours' labor and $15 of Great Stuff were a better alternative to the 4-figure price tag of replacing the doors.
Daddy has been the official nail trimmer for 10+ years. ♥
Day 31. This young lady had the opportunity to play offertory Sunday morning. A blessing to this mama's heart on so. many. levels. ♥
And that was our week ...
the new one is already off and running ...
:)
