365Project.2015 | Week 30

Welcome back!
This week was a bit more "normal" ... a little bit of school, a few play dates, ... the ordinary stuff of life. :)

Day 200. When you realize that you've only spent $6 of your monthly dining budget and the month's more than half over ... a Sunday evening trip for ice cream is in order! :)

Yep! Abby likes to fly just like her siblings. :)
Day 201. I love it when our school time inspires the kids' playtime! :) We're learning about Colonial and Revolutionary War history in preparation for an upcoming trip to Virginia. Hannah decided it would be fun to do some laundry ... colonial style. ;)

Peter threw himself into the action with his customary vigor ... ;)
Day 202. What a blessing it has been to make new friends at church! ♥ On Tuesday, they introduced us to a new park! :)
 While the kids played,
 the mommies talked. :) Definitely a win-win situation! :)
And then that evening, Daddy decided to reinstall the child seat on his bike ... guess who has a new ride! :)
It's nice living on a very quiet road.
Day 203. More fun in store on Wednesday! :) We joined up with Aunt Barbi and our cousins to pick blueberries!
This crew is amazing! Two mommies and five kids, ages 5-10, picked 30+ POUNDS of blueberries in about two hours. :)

Day 204. That many blueberries calls for some special blueberry treats ... we all decided that this Blueberry French Toast is a definite repeat! :)
Day 205. I love seeing these two interact. Hannah is so sweet with Abby, and Abby absolutely adores her big sister. ♥
Speaking of Hannah-bug ... she is so excited to be learning Greek (at her own request) this year! Her books arrived on Friday, and she practically begged me for permission to start right away. :) I'm hoping the enthusiasm will continue. :)
Day 206. Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? is Abby's very favorite book ... ♥
Peek-a-boo! Somebody woke up from her nap and is ready for a birthday party! :) With a busy week ahead of us, we decided that we'd celebrate a few days early.

"Mommy, that candle ... it's so pretty and bright ... "
"Let me GRAB it!" Thankfully Mommy's faster than a one-year-old! :)
Somebody certainly enjoyed her cupcake! ♥ Happy 1st Birthday, Little One. ♥

The next few weeks will be full ones with multiple VBS's, Abby's "official" birthday, and some traveling.
See you in a few. :)
