Candyland and Conversations

We've reached a new milestone for Hannah . . . she can now play Candyland! We've been having a blast playing this "big girl" game! :o)

Yes, Peter tries to get in on the action, too.

Hannah has also had some absolutely hysterical comments recently--her animation and facial expressions communicate volumes beyond just the words themselves, but here's a hint of just one of her recent conversations which took place the other afternoon as she began contemplating the ramifications of Peter sitting on the toilet.

"And if Peter sits on the potty he'd fall in and go down, down, down . . . " (hand motions indicating a swirling downward motion) "That wouldn't be good, nope." (expressive face with shaking of head) "We can't go out and buy another Peter. Nope, we can't." (matter of fact shaking of head) "Only God makes Peters."

And yet one other . . .
"Mommy, can I have a special snack, please? A special snack to make me happy."
"Hannah, snacks don't make us happy, Jesus in our heart makes us happy."
"Yes, but Jesus doesn't eat snacks. He just lives in our heart. He doesn't eat special snacks."

Ah, the reasoning of a three-year-old . . . priceless!

Gotta love the logic of a child...there's not much funnier!
